  Opening Day 2008, Eileen Moncrieff shows that its an easy game to play

The ladies were let down badly on Ladies Versus Gents day by two of the newest members to the ranks, Suzie, Stuart, Colquhoun and Tracy, Tam, Porteous. These two must have been a couple of ringers and let AnnMarie Fletcher down badly. They lost by 20 shots to nil, zero, zilcho, nil point to put it in simply 'grannied'. The gents won the game by 65 shots to 22, the highest up Ladies rink was Moira Crawford, Ann Tudhope and Jeanette Bellshaw. But the stars on the day were the gents team of Arthur Buchan, Barry Brown and Gerry Moncrieff. Next week is Vets versus the gents so get down early and dont miss any of the pre match build up, this game is not on sky or setanta so a ticket may be required for watching.
